Basic Rates:
Wedding Ceremony for four musicians: $550
Additional playing time for four musicians: $200/hr
First hour of Special Event for four musicians: $550
Additional playing time for four musicians: $200/hr
Our basic rate includes phone and email discussions about the event and an arrival time 30 minutes prior to the event for last minute instructions and set up. Extra rehearsals or pre-function attendance can be arranged for an additional fee.
Trio and Duo Rates:
Members of Orelia are also available for performances as string duo or trio. Contact us for more information about rates.
Travel Expenses:
The Orelia String Quartet is based out of Boulder, Colorado. For any engagement that is more than 25 miles from the center of Boulder (intersection of 16th Street and Broadway), a payment of $0.50 per mile is charged for the total round-trip distance traveled.
Popular Song Arrangements:
If you have a special popular song that you would like performed that is not already in our repertoire, we would be happy to write our own arrangement for string quartet. The fee for such an arrangement is $75/song and requires at least one month’s notice.
Policy:
A non-refundable deposit (personal check, certified money order) of half of the final payment is due with the signing of the contract. The rest of the balance is due on the day of the event, preceding the performance.
